Foreign Trade Is The Core Force To Promote China'S Economic Improvement
Since the beginning of this year, new driving forces for my country's foreign trade have accelerated their growth, positive factors promoting the stable and healthy development of foreign trade have accumulated, and the resilience of foreign trade has continued to be demonstrated. In the first three quarters, my country's "three new items" export volume increased by 41.7% year-on-year, maintaining double-digit growth for 14 consecutive quarters, becoming an important driving force for foreign trade growth. In the first three quarters, cross-border e-commerce import and export volume reached 1.7 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.4%, maintaining rapid growth. The trade structure has been optimized and upgraded. From January to October, my country's general trade import and export increased by 1.8%, accounting for 64.9% of my country's total foreign trade value, 1.1 percentage points higher than the same period last year; the import and export of private enterprises reached 18.24 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.2%. In addition, data released by the State Administration for Market Regulation today showed that in the first three quarters, 7.065 million new private enterprises were established across the country, a year-on-year increase of 15.3%. As of the end of September this year, the number of registered private enterprises nationwide exceeded 52 million, and private enterprises accounted for 92.3% of the total number of enterprises.
It is worth noting that in the first 10 months of this year, Guangdong’s general trade and bonded logistics import and export increased, and their proportion increased. Among them, the import and export of general trade and bonded logistics were 3.92 trillion yuan and 1.18 trillion yuan respectively, an increase of 4.8% and 6.7%, and their proportion in Guangdong's total import and export value increased by 2.8 and 1.1 percentage points to 57.7% and 17.3%.
High-tech value-added products such as mechanical and electrical products have maintained their previous growth trend and continue to support foreign trade exports. In the first 10 months, Guangdong's exports of mechanical and electrical products increased by 1%, accounting for 65.4% of Guangdong's total foreign trade export value. Among them, electrical equipment and household appliances with large export values increased by 2.9% and 6.3% respectively; the "New Three" electric vehicles Exports of automobiles, lithium batteries, and solar cells continued to maintain high growth, with increases of 4 times, 18.4%, and 29.2% respectively.
Private enterprises also continue to play an important role in Guangdong's foreign trade. In the first 10 months, Guangdong's private enterprises' import and export volume was 4.12 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.4%, accounting for 60.5%, driving Guangdong's foreign trade growth by 3.1 percentage points during the same period. The import and export of foreign-invested enterprises was 2.31 trillion yuan, down 8.1%, accounting for 33.9%; the import and export of state-owned enterprises was 370.23 billion yuan, down 6.7%, accounting for 5.4%.
