The first batch of imported exhibits will enter the 134th Canton Fair. The import exhibition area covers an area of approximately 30,000 square meters. It is expected that more than 600 companies from 40 countries and regions will participate in the exhibition.
On September 10, the 134th China Import and Export Fair (hereinafter referred to as the "Canton Fair") welcomed the first batch of inbound exhibits. This batch of exhibits, mainly household appliances such as refrigerators, freezers, and range hoods produced in Turkey, entered the country smoothly under the supervision of Guangzhou Customs.
"Under the integrated customs clearance model, we go through the declaration formalities at the competent customs, and the goods are quickly inspected and released after they arrive at the port customs, which is very smooth." Shanghai International Exhibition Transportation Co., Ltd. is responsible for undertaking the inbound logistics of the first batch of exhibits, the company manager Fang Hong said that efficient customs clearance leaves more time for exhibitors to prepare for the exhibition.
The 134th Canton Fair will last for 15 days. Offline exhibitions will be held in Guangzhou in three phases from October 15th to November 4th. At the same time, the online platform will be operated on a regular basis and provide all-weather online services. The import exhibition area of the Canton Fair covers an area of about 30,000 square meters. It is expected that more than 600 companies from 40 countries and regions will participate in the exhibition. "All exhibits temporarily entering the country during the current Canton Fair, after the exhibit list is confirmed by the China Foreign Trade Center, the organizer of the Canton Fair, can enjoy preferential and convenient measures provided by the customs such as on-site supervision and exemption from submitting tax guarantees to the customs." Deng Qiang, deputy director of the Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center Customs affiliated to Guangzhou Customs, said.
In order to ensure the smooth holding of the 134th Canton Fair, Guangzhou Customs took the initiative to connect with the organizers of the Canton Fair and logistics companies, grasp the logistics information of exhibits arriving at the port in advance, set up a special customs clearance window for Canton Fair exhibits, accept appointments for customs clearance from exhibitors around the clock, and give priority to declaration, inspection, sampling, Testing and other procedures.
