Canton Fair spokesperson Xu Bing said that the 134th Canton Fair will be held in Guangzhou in three phases from October 15 to November 4, and the online platform will be operated on a regular basis. At present, more than 100,000 buyers from more than 200 countries and regions have pre-registered. It is expected that the number of attendees at this Canton Fair will increase significantly compared with the 133rd Canton Fair.

At this session of the Canton Fair, buyers from key markets actively participated. The number of pre-registered buyers from Europe and the United States increased by 8.6% compared with the same period of the previous session. Buyers from countries participating in the “Belt and Road” construction increased by 11.2%, and buyers from RCEP countries increased by 13.8%. Key industries such as electronics and home appliances, machinery, daily consumer goods, hardware tools, and home decorations receive high attention from buyers.

At the same time, the number of purchasing groups increased, with 97 industrial and commercial organizations from Europe, America, Asia, and Africa participating in the conference. The number of groups increased by 86.5% compared with the same period of the previous session. Leading companies such as the Fortune Global 500 and Global Retail Top 250 actively participated in the conference, and 140 leading multinational companies confirmed their participation.

The scale of this Canton Fair has reached a new high, with the total exhibition area expanded to 1.55 million square meters, an increase of 50,000 square meters compared with the previous session. The total number of booths is 74,000, nearly 4,600 more than the previous session; there are more than 28,000 exhibitors, more than 3,000 more than the previous session; the import exhibition attracted 650 companies from 43 countries and regions, including the "Belt and Road" joint construction National exhibitors account for about 60%.

The attraction comes from China’s broad prospects for high-quality development. In recent years, China's export commodity structure has continued to optimize. As the "barometer" and "wind vane" of China's foreign trade, the first phase of this Canton Fair focuses on advanced manufacturing as its support. The scale of the exhibition area for home appliances, electronic consumer goods, mechanical equipment, new energy and other products has been expanded to provide more high-tech, high-tech and high-tech products. Value-added enterprises provide exhibition opportunities; the second and third phases focus on products that adapt to consumption upgrades and the needs of a better life, providing convenience for global buyers to purchase one-stop.

The attraction also comes from the continuous optimization of the opening effectiveness of the Canton Fair platform. With the theme of "serving high-quality development and promoting high-level opening up", this year's Canton Fair strives to create a comprehensive platform integrating information exchange, innovation release, industry promotion, trade services and other functions. During the exhibition, a series of global procurement promotion activities and more than 60 "Trade Bridge" global trade docking activities will be held.
