Expo Nacional Ferretera is an important professional exhibition in Latin American hardware, construction and electronics industries. Founded in 1989, the exhibition is held regularly every year in Guadalajara, Mexico, and has a history of 29 years. It is a large-scale trade exhibition sponsored by Reed Exhibitions Group, and is strongly supported by the Mexican Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the National Industrial Manufacturing Development Chamber. It is known as the world's three major hardware exhibitions together with the Cologne Hardware Fair in Germany and the American Hardware and Garden Show. It is also the largest international hardware exhibition in South America and Latin America. More than 1,200 companies from 26 countries displayed more than 500,000 products at the 2022 Mexico Hardware Show. In addition to major Latin American countries, there are also China, the United States, Canada, Italy, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Turkey, Spain, and India. , well-known companies from South Korea, Japan and other countries participated. It has attracted more than 80,000 visitors from more than 33 countries, including more than 20,000 professional visitors from the industry, and the exhibition area is as high as 50,000 square meters. According to statistics, the total bilateral trade between China and Mexico reached US$86.6 billion in 2021, and the bilateral trade volume reached a new high, accounting for nearly 9% of Mexico's total foreign trade. Among them, China's imports from Mexico were US$19.16 billion, a year-on-year increase of 18.1%, and China's exports to Mexico were US$67.44 billion, a year-on-year increase of 50.4%. China is already Mexico's second largest trading partner in the world, and Mexico is also China's second largest trading partner in Latin America.
