The Ministry of Transport was informed that since the beginning of this year, my country's international logistics operations have continued to improve overall, and the foreign trade throughput of the country's ports has increased significantly. In the first eight months, the country's ports completed a foreign trade cargo throughput of 3.34 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 9.7%, and a year-on-year increase of 9.7% compared with 2019. An increase of 16.9% over the same period.

Looking at aviation, international air cargo volume has grown steadily. As of the end of August, the industry had 252 all-cargo aircraft flying to 22 countries, with a total cargo and mail volume of 10.324 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.9%.

Looking at ports, the cargo handling capacity of major land ports continues to improve. At present, my country has signed intergovernmental international road transport agreements with 21 countries co-building the “Belt and Road”. In August, the cargo volume at major land ports such as Alashankou, Horgos, Erenhot, Manzhouli and Suifenhe increased by 89.1% year-on-year.

Looking at shipping, the international shipping service network is constantly improving. Since this year, express delivery companies have accelerated the integration of various international logistics resources by sea, land, air and rail, steadily promoted the construction of international postal channels, and improved the layout of overseas warehouses and distribution centers.
