Mexico used to be a country with high tariffs, but by the end of 2005 it had lowered most of its import tariffs. Mexico's resident population has reached 110 million, and the capital Mexico City alone has a population of 30 million. Mexican Minister of Economy Sojo said at the "Mexico Investment and Trade Opportunities" seminar: "In 2006, Mexico exported goods and services worth US$1.69 billion to China, and China exported US$24.44 billion to Mexico. It is estimated that In the next three years, China’s direct investment in Mexico will reach 300 million US dollars, which is five times the current amount.” Soho said that because Mexico belongs to the North American Free Trade Area, through Mexico, goods can be exported to Mexico with low tariffs or even zero tariffs. For the United States and Latin American countries, this will become the biggest advantage for Chinese companies to build factories in Mexico. In recent years, Mexico's economic growth has been stable, and its inflation rate has been lower than 4%, and it has been decreasing year by year. Mexico can radiate the markets of developed countries and developing countries through Mexico.
