Flexible Coupling Grooved Pipe Fittings

Grooved pipe couplings are used for connection between pipes. For example, joining pipes in both wet and dry system. They provided some flexibility in terms of movement and deflection to the piping system. Grooved pipe couplings, it’s compared with the welded flange connection, and are more compact and require less installation space. Besides, rubber gasket are flexible. It can reduce noise and vibration. The grooved pipe fittings and couplings are more environmentally friendly, than welding. The entire assembly is tightened with bolts and nuts. And Grooved couplings allow the pipeline to have axial expansion and angular displacement, suitable for hot water pipes, Fire system, and outdoor pipes.

The grooved pipe fittings and couplings, they are treated with sand blasting before finished, for different environment, different finishes are recommended, like epoxy powder, paint to meet different requirements of all clients. The grooved couplings are surface treated with electrophoretic paint and are more environmentally friendly than other surface treatment. For the Casting, the Chemical composition are strictly controlled for every batch of castings, bottom inspection will be conducted for every furnace with tensile bars to trace back, to assure the castings to meet the requirements of ASTM 536, ISO 1083 etc. standards.
